What Kind of Noob Things did you Do When you First Got Your Car?
After reading the post of that guy who jacked his new SIR up in the wrong places and denting his spare tire resevoir as well as damaging his rad I can't help but think of some of the stupidness I did when I first started working on my car. For instance.
1. Tried to Change my Distributor cap, I couldn't unscrew the rotor so I decided to give the car a quick turn over to get the rotor to spin with cap open and what not. basically I blew my Ignition Coil.
2. Tried to do my own body work, ended up with the fuggliest looking job since I was using a spray to re-paint it.
3. Took off rims one winter and forgot to remove one of the center caps when putting on my stock ones. I bent that crap outta the center ring and it was a rare one too! So I screwed myself there.
I could go on... but I'd rather laugh at what other people have done!

On my first car, way back, I jacked the car up on the cross member and made a 2" dent upward in the floor.... hehe

Got a pulled over. When the cop asked for registration... I said wtf and handed him my owners manual. Then i was asked to step outa the car and almost got a breathalizer done at 4pm. He thougth i was drunk for handing over my manual.

i was with my girlfriend in the back of my civic, and a cop pulled up behind us without us knowing, then put his sirens on (we were in a dark parking lot) and instead of just waiting, as a joke i got out of the car and ran a little bit...the cop didn't find it too funny, but my girlfriend was laughing while i was getting cuffed on the ground...lol.....
then another time i was somewhat new at driving stick, and i was stopped on quite a big hill, and the guy behind me was really close so when the light turned green i got really scared and floored the car and dropped the clutch peeling out everywhere for like 10 seconds before i almost slid into the curb beside me...lol

i am not 100% sure i understand the question...lol...but i ran, he chased me and when i realized he was serious i stopped...then he told me to lie down, and then he cuffed me, took me to his car and started asking why i ran.......so i just told him i did it to try to show off and that i was really sorry but it seemed funny at the time...lol..i was pretty much just kissing his *** the whole time, then he checked my liscense...insurance...criminal record stuff..etc, and he let us go with a warning that i was lucky he didn't "take me in"
