When working on your car/hobby etc?
Me? Well when working on car installs sometimes I will be usiong my cutters and not realise my finger is in the way of the straight cutter portion on the bottom, and when i go to strip wire, I cut right into my finger tip.
Ouch that one hurt, I sorta just stood there in shock, then ran up to the bathroom to get bandaids cause the **** was gushing lol.

Some of you may not know, but I work on cars for a living, strictly maintenance type jobs (oil, transmission changes, rad flushes, etc.). I'm extremely careful and have never done anything stupid while working on a car or truck, any job. The worst things that happen are unavoidable. I get burnt off an exhaust manifold or flex pipe on a regular basis while changing oil filters. Cuts and scratches are also considered part of the job. Knuckles, elbows, shins and my head get banged up regularly, and back ache/pain due to leaning over hoods all day. Sure, there's safety equipment which is used and precautions which are followed, but they don't always work. One of my personal favourites is the exhaust manifold with the circle and the hand with the line across it indicating that the manifold's hot and not to touch. Well, the oil filter's usually located right beside that warning and 9 times out of 10, I usually get burnt while changing the filter. I think the last thing most car designers considered was the location of the oil filter.
That's my rant. Thanx for the motivation Matt!

I've burnt myself numerous times on my exhaust manifold on my r/c car. Originally when I got it my buddy told me to stop the car by putting my finger on the exhaust tip, yea thats not a good idea when your muffler is made outta metal, burnt my finger nicely.
