Some of my favorite cartoons were:

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe,
Rocket Robin Hood,
Tail Spin,
Pinky and the Brain,
Beetlejuice,
Super Mario Brothers,
and of course the Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show

and TV shows:

Fresh Prince,
Saved By The Bell,
Married with Children,
Knight Rider,
Whos the Boss

I think most of these are on DVD now.

To tell you the truth I don't really want to see any old shows come back, they were good for the time but to just bring them back now wouldn't be good for some older shows. In most cases it wouldn't have the same atmosphere, and the actors/actresses wouldn't be the same.

But some old shows that I like are:
The Prisoner
Miami Vice
NYPD Blue
Seinfeld
Thomas the Tank Engine

The only exception I can think of is that it is great they brought back the Family Guy, I don't think it is quite as funny as before but still great.

I soooooooooo know that JoonyaSi is going to say the Fembot choice would be either "Murder She Wrote" or "Matlock"...boooooo on you, Terry! =P
*turn on the tv quick, I think there's an episode of the Flintstones on now*

However, even though it's not 'old school', it is from last year (therefore, from the past, albeit, recent past, and will eventually be 'old school'): ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. Imho, one of the best decimated tv shows ever ever ever!
