BULL**** maintanence is not maintanence. because honda's dont require the owner to be at the dealership every other month and show me one VW mechanic that says VW's are easier to work on VW then Civic and i will shave my head

So to recap - any vehicle where it takes more than 5 minutes to take off a bumper - it's garbage?
How many times have you seen an EK whre there is literally, a hole in the bumper? They are made so thin and lightweight, that it only takes 4 screws to hold 'em in. Go to Pacific Mall, and you can see Civics where the washer fluid reservoir tank is in plain sight.

Hahahah They are thin eh? oh okay so how much does it cost for one of those bumpers anyway? like 40 bucks? oh okay thanks. and umm how much does a VW bumper cost brand new if it where to break? like 400? oh okay thanks for proving my point. and light wieght is acutally better then a heavy bumper for your information as it takes more of the force in an accident dumbass. i rather have my bumper broken and have my fluid resovoir be seen then have it hit and see no cracks or anything visually and meanwhile my shock towers (impact towers) be pushed in 2 mm or 3 mm.

Actually yes yes i am. when people buy used cars they should already know especially with honda that rust is just a matter of time especially when the car is 10 years old. its actually a way of telling that i am not only biased with what i am saying.

Stuff like that makes me wonder about the overall quality. BTW don't you think the owners would complain and have the wireing checked or something.

Opinions?? Ideas??
having had two new VWs in the family I can attest to the bad wiring. tail and head lights burn out all the time, in addition to door switches and MAF sensors... and other isht. what happens is the power for one tail is pulled through the other, so it flows 2X the amt of currnet it needs and it burns out faster.

never buy VW.
