See what employee mentality gets you??

Executive salaries are peanuts...

Its the options that are lucrative...

anyways, I have an income of $0 per annum, yet I'm still ballin haha j/k

making good money means being able to spend it wisely... in other words, having enough money to be able to make DECISIONS about your money, as opposed to bills and creditors making the decisions for you. get what I mean?
was the first part a joke? because you contradict the statment in the last part....

and I quote....

Yes where do I sign this guy up? He can't even use proper grammar and yet he is still delusional enough to think he's worth 100K...sorry that's take home...so he means a salary of 200k.....hope you have a high self esteem to get you through the rough patch of not having a job...well...for pretty much all your life.

Unless you are slingin drugs or something....How about proving yourself first.
I don't think these are the general population targets, these are my personal targets/goals as to what I want to make at those ages, that I would consider to be good money... not what most people can hope to make at that age...

Torrey - You're right there are a few priviledged people that can work 9-5 and take home 6 figures, but more often than not it'll involve some late nights, traveling, meetings all over the place... sure you get your 12+ weeks of vacation, but when you're working you're busy...

what do are you in school for if you dont' mind me asking?

no, and no

what it means is leverage carefully so that even after settling your fiscal responsibility you still have money that YOU can manage.... rather than having 100% of your 'disposable' income going to creditors and so on.

so say you have a $1000 paycheque

$400 mortgage
$200 credit card bill
$200 car note
$200 bills
$0 money to manage

^ not smart

$300 mortgage (smaller house or more money down)
$200 bills
$500 to manage

it means you paid for the car in cash or you don't own a car and you don't use credit cards.

^ smart

that's just an example, your optimal income to debt ratio varies from person to person

my education is worth more to my parents than it is to me, cuz at least they feel good when ppl ask them what their son has done. I'm prolly gonna go drive big rigs with my university education.
