Rice is for eating. I can't beleive this "rice" term is still being used. If it is, then wouldn't everyone using that term be considered rice???

european car drivers would call honda drivers rice boy because they drive a riced out honda that mayeb has too many lights, cutting the springs to save money instead of getting lowering springs and cutting springs slow down your car from bouncing all the time ya so this kind of stuff they would call you a rice boy if you do it.

On theother hand if there a stunta, and come off as a big shot with a huge ego thinking their car will smoke anythign out there, and because you dont have altezzas or clear corners thna your ride is ****, than their attitude and car is rice.

To me its all in the attitude, cause I know some people who have modded their car like that and do it because "they" think it looks nice, but there real nice people, I may not like it but I wont say something unless they have a big attitude like mentioned, and come off dissin my ride etc.

I believe rice is parts that don't belong on certain cars, mugen stickers on mazdas (my classic example), Type R emblems on anything but Type R's, aluminum wings on completely stock cars.

After reading Matt's post on ricey attitude, I agree with his stand on it as well. It's people who think they're all bad with a fartcan exhaust, altezzas and badly molded bodykit that ruin it for the rest of us. I would've got altezzas if it wasnt for the attitude of the people driving that cars that have them.

If you ask any domestic fanboy what rice is, the first thing that comes outta their mouth is civics. Bah

(Hope that all made sense) lol

usually when someone says RICE!

its cuz they're jelous......

i could care less what people do to their cars........ some may think my car looks like ****, but i love it......

and vise versa

the only thing that bugs me is badges that dont belong, and people who pull up beside you in a older tercel " Type R " thats "Powered by Mugen" and try to call you on......

other then that...... do whatever the hell you want....... since when was there a "code" to how you can MODIFY your car?

Rice to me is anyone stupid enough to call someone elses stuff rice, or anyone who cares if someone calls their stuff rice.
Well said!

Don't see anybody cutting up JDM ppl! Oh wait it's the JDM ers that are labelling the cars "rice"

Just a thought......

So what are cars called that are "ALL GO AND NO SHOW"?

Funny how cars that are race prepped are acceptable, but when their appearance is altered they are concidered "RICE"

How many "ALL GO AND NO SHOW" cars win car shows?

"Rice" to me means ugly. How do so called "ugly" cars win car shows?

another thought.......

I don't use the term Rice ever.......cause it's just not cool......i don't mind saying someones cars is Bull$hit, or "What the hell was he thinking of putting TRD stickers all over his purple sunfire?"

Some mods are in bad taste and some aren't...to each his own...if you like somthing put it on, all that matter is if you like it and if you can get girls with it...LOL

"Rice"

is a just a derrogatory term used to describe modifications that negatively impact on the performance of a vehicle.
