Why throw money away paying rent when you can have a morgage and own your own home. A morgage is like a giant savings account especially when you have a 4.5% interest rate like i do, calculate inflation and the all the mods done to the house to increase the value of it, it almost balances out in the end.

modding my car was one of the stupidist things ive done in my life in terms of financial gain. Sure it brought me lots of fun, but in the ent its still just a heap of metal with no value. Its a giant debt, while the house is a giant investment.

Always the devils advocate

well i spent and continue to spend money on my car, tue, it is a hobby and i enjoy it... andhondas in general are a good investment period as they barely devaluate...

but @ 21 i just bought my first condo (whitby yaht club - new on un built @ port whitby marina)and will be built this summer and ready to move in next year...
gonna work out to e god, cause when i my parents retire, and or i have my own family we'll trade, i'll get the house and they'll have my condo...

and i do save money and spend wisely...

sure its great to live in the moment and drive around in a pimp ride impressing all the ladys... I did to when I was your age, but everythign is fine in moderation.

I think the smartest idea for young guys into modding cars is to match every doller you spend on your car and put it in a savings account.

A) it makes you realize quickly how much you really spend on your car over the course of time.

B) you save for school, or if schools paied for, your saveing for a downpayment on your first home.

C) you still can enjoy life as a teenager and have a semi pimped ride.

E) When an adult critisizes you for dumping all your money into a car and how stupid it is, you can look even smarter than them buy explaining how you match every dollar spent on the car. Then say put that in your pipe and smoke it biatch smart *** adult haha

smartest thing i have done is own a house at 21 and have my own business and import a car from japan and have other cars aswell.

education is nice. i chose not to pursue it because of family debt so i went this route knowing nothing and now i am planning on retiring at 30. then i am going to be studying for the **** of things.
