Just trying to scope out some bad things that have happened after you lowered your car? Anyone break anything badly?

I scrape my WW RS lip when I move my car into the garage to work on it, but other than that I haven't had any problems.

with my winter beatewr, i always scrap the mid section, and the whole exhaust. With my 6th gen, i constantly hit the floor, when climbing up driveways, and, the worst was sliding under a truck. i was driving and i slammed the brakes ,and i just rolled underneath. I guess thats cause i had crappy oem shocks, with a slam. And the car didnt stabalize and just slid. it wasn't planted.

Wow... lots of damage and money spent. Is it worth it? In my opinion No... What would be the proper lowering spec's on a 00 Civic SiR. I don't want these things happing to my car.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks,

it's advisable to drop your car 5 to 6 inches and then rally race it and NEVER slow down for anything

anything less than 5 or 6 inches, the girls won't notice you so you won't get laid, plus you won't have mad vtech y0! plus, if you lower it like 1 or 1.5 inches your susp geometry will still be somewhat intact and who wants that?? wheel travel is for losers and sissies. Also, 18 or 19 inch rims will help enormusly!

also, those who have had damage from lowering, that's only cuz they had soft sport springs that were too mushy... if you get ultra super-duper RACE springs when slammmming your ryde, you won't have that problem
