anything less than 5 or 6 inches, the girls won't notice you so you won't get laid, plus you won't have mad vtech y0! plus, if you lower it like 1 or 1.5 inches your susp geometry will still be somewhat intact and who wants that?? wheel travel is for losers and sissies. Also, 18 or 19 inch rims will help enormusly!

glad you know sarcasm when you see it LOL
it's just that we've been over it so many times I just can't imagine why anyone would STILL ask this question.
basically, regardless of how low you go, if you use proper car in driving, and you always keep in mind that your car is NOT an SUV... you won't sustain any damage. Most of ours have been extrenuous circumstances where we suffered damage. Anyways, lower it, yes... a little bit. Then, drive with care and you'll be okay!

worst thing that happened to me, i got stuck in the snow in an unplowed school parking lot rofl, i was driving thru other peoples tracks and i saw the middle was gettin deep so i stopped just a little bit in the snow the front wheels lifted off the ground pretty much, good thing i had 3 other people in the car to help push me backwards lol, lets just say i wont drive in snow ne more than a few inches high lol, im down 2.5 inches on pretty stiff springs and kybs, the ride is great i would never go back to stock, i never bottom out... i dunno what else to tell ya other than lower it lol i love it worth every penny in my opinion, also the neuspeed front strut bar made quite the difference after i lowered my car, now i just need to stiffen the rear

Gashed up my muffler pretty good, Cracked my mooogen lip, dented my oil pan like a **** on a high curb and my lcas met the ground a few times.
The muffler put off some nice sparkage. I was lowered on Neuspeed Races btw.

not my car but my buddy has an older VR6, It was sick body kit from german, 17 rims and lowered. He was doing about 120 and was exiting a construction zone on the highway, they didn't tear off the old stuff properly and so it was like hitting a curb straight on going 120. Damage was as follows, 4 rims destroyed beyond belief. Front and back bumper torn totally off and entire suspension destroyed. Insurance paid.

My Z's dropped almost 2 inches (most people don't even noptice it's dropped haha) and I have minor issues. I always scrape the wind diffuser under the car, I've scraped my side skirts on speed bumps in my area if I didn't slow right down. Potholes are the worst yeah. I ended up going through two pairs of tires on the front (not alligned), changed steering rack, inner and outter tierods but those were dead even before.
This is the first winter driving it lowered, and I haven't got stuck yet at all. We'll see how she looks in the spring when I get my poly bushings finally installed and I can update on whatelse breaks haha.
PS: My Civc has cut springs and is encased in snow right now.
