the speeds I experience from ftp and http are up in the 600kbps...and from large ftp servers are up in the 800kbps range...makes adult content browsing a breeze

well i just cheled the difference between dsl high speed and dsl ultra high speed (both sympatico) onyly difference is an extra mb download, so high speed is 3mb download wth no dowload restrictions and ultra is only 4, ultra is **.99 , high speed is 44.95, so not much difference at all, and prob wouldn't notice the speed that uch either...

i think u would be able to see the diffrence in a 1 mbit diffrence .. and the ultra is 59.99 /mth on promo right now

and rogers/bell is only 2.5 mbit TOPs cause they cap ur ish ... ULTRA is more of a business line

I read that before, I wanted to know exactly when rogers was gonna start limiting it. For some reason I thought it was March 15.

Rogers Hi-Speed. We have had no troubles with it and it is billed with our cable & our cell phones all at once so it is also the most convenient.

Ive got sympatico high speed.. I have had it for 5-6 years now, no real problems ever. They have no cap and only when I was younger I would have to call customer service and they were not the brightest but now I can usually fix it myself.
Also they called me and offered me 3 months free trial of there service equivelent to t1 speeds. So of course I tired it and it was pretty good, not worth the extra money though since I am running 4 computers here with the same internet.

Using Sympatico high speed for a little over a year now. Used to use Rogers before that and got fed up when they called me up to give me a warning that I was d/ling too much , then cut me off for a week. Bell has never gone down once for me ever , meanwhile roger's used to frequently go down at least once a month or so. Only thing I miss about rogers is they had a decent newsgroup server which bell doesnt have.
