Im just saying it cost's a Fortune. You can make a 5.0 litre stang Run 9's for the same price as making your Supra run 11's. Thats the point. An LS1 Camaro can run a 12.99 bone stock with a set of Good tire's. Supra's can be made fast and yes they handle a lot of power. But it IS NOT an Ideal platform for drag racing. It was never a drag car to Begin with. And Rice boy's are the One's who think Supra's are king **** in the 1/4 mile and there not!!!!!!!

So wtf are you talking about? All motor LS1's can run 10's. Seriously Done up Supra's with Crazy boost run 10's. Which do you think is a better platform for drag racing?..........
I Brought this point up Because most Rice boy's hate camaro's and any one who think's a Supra can be made faster than a Camaro is most likely a Rice boy. Your Type-R sticker is in the Mail.

not really rice.
since in japan it is a toyota cavalier.
and since its built in the same plant. no different then someone putting a honda badge on a acura integra and calling it honda integra. but the reason you call it rice is because you didnt know there was such a thing called toyota cavalier. i guess thats one of the main reasons why rice exists alot of mis information

despite the fct that there is a toyota cavalier (ive seen them and ther just as brutal) the simple fact that trd makes Zero parts for it is pretty rice. but in my books putting mugen stickers on a civic with no mugen parts on it is rice

I think Toyota works with Pontiac, not Chev. So the body shape looks like a Chev. Cavalier.

I guess.

its the joint program that toyota has with GM.
with the cavalier toyota basically took a vehicle that was built by GM and rebadged it and added a little goodies like jdm power folding mirrors, jdm tails, city light's in headlights, leather steering wheel, trunk cover paneling etc....
the reason Toyota did this was because GM is trying to get into the japanese market and what better way to do so then entering in thru a very reliable and reputated company like Toyota.

believe it or not the cavalier in north america was one of the highest selling cars for GM. is it garbage? to each his own i guess.

I wouldnt say they are an attractive car IMO...although a lot of civics are considered ugly by some.

and there is no doubt in my mind that the cav/sunfire were the highest selling cars in north america, there EVERYWHERE! But I'm not going to start up another cav. war but they're built like ****...so why toyota would put their name on the line beats me

I think I know the reason they were only sold in japan from 96-00

^ because they didnt sell. toyota didnt sell the cavalier with the sport compact enthuiast in mind, they sold it as an economy car, which is where the money is. all the cavaliers came with auto transmitions, which is a big downside for anyone looking to mod a car.

and caloge, trd does make cav parts, heres the kit:

since when was there a "code" that people would have to stick to when doing up their car, or risk being called ricers??

I guess some of the tackier "mods" could be considered rice, like a green underglow kit on a non lowered red car where the tubes are VERY visable.

its your car..... do what you want with it.

you should be doing what you want for yourself, and not others
