where to buy cheap office furniture?

I'm looking to buy an L-Shaped desk and I dont want to pay $500+ for a new one.

Does anyone know where I can pickup something for cheap?
I dont mind if its used or if someone has connections at like Business Depot or if you know someone selling.

Looking for something under $200.

Hi there:

I'm not sure if this will help you out, but sometimes IKEA has marked-down furniture in their As-Is Section...it changes constantly, so sometimes you can find a deal. All depends on being at the right place at the right time.

I've also 'creatively' improvised...IKEA sells tabletops and the legs separately--it's fairly cheap and can look decent. And no, I don't work for IKEA, haha.

Anyway, just suggestions...
Hope you find what you're looking for.

goto home depot...get a slab of bulk countertop...puchase 2 lengths of 2.5" conduit, get them ***** to cut into 30" lenghts (or however high u want the desk to be"...then get them to thread the ends and then purchase the ends that will screw to the bottom of the countertop and the conduit will screw in...under 100bucks for a 10ft long desk...this was mine

but yea, u can do the ikea thing too...same difference, there was no ikea in windsor so I had to do this...built it over 2 years ago and people in the house are still using it...college peeps too...this ish is sturdy!

when I was working up in Vaughn at Flexmart I always noticed they had some very good looking and somewhat decent furniture for pretty good prices.

Check them out..There off Bass Pro Mills Drive
