interesting, what made you choose the 600m?
I've compared benchmarks for the 1.4 centrino to my 2.0 mobile celeron in a similar setup and the 1.4 does much better in all office productivity and i think multimedia applications. So I can imagine that the 1.3 will do the same over mine.
I think you should be happy. Just one suggestion, i would upgrade memory if you can. 512 at least. might cost you 100 more.
I payed 1800+ tax for my low-end toshiba. So you've got a good thing goin. By the way, what are you taking at Ryerson?

I'm having the exact problem...I'm looking for a specific computer tho...
If anyone can help me in finding one, I'd appreciate it. Any information in attaining one would be good. As well, a price quote on one would be usefull also.
The reason why I need this particular model is because, I need a system what will analize ECU information in real time...as well, able to endure the rigors of an automotive shop environment. Again, any information would be appreciated. I need one asap.
Thanks
Cheers,
Buddah.
