Canada put the puck in the net, but the whistle was called as the ref lost sight of the puck, so no goal. About 1 minute left!

Canada's offence was garbage the whole tournament. Quinn was always screwing with the lines and so there was never a true #1 line, the years they won they had an amazing #1 line (i.e. Lemieux, Sakic (not injured and old like he is now), and Iginla).

They took way too many penalties the whole game today, even right up to the last minute with Pronger's play.

But they will make up for it in 2010.

this was the worst team canada ever....I wanted Russia to win anyways, atleast they came to play

Yeah they werent playing well. They were playing a dump and chase game, which reminds me of the Leafs.

And you cant play like that in olympic hockey.

they had no heart ... mccabe was garbage... dump and chase is the worst style of hockeey .. pure big guys theyre so slow nad not even hitting... no play makers.. worst game worst team ever...

quinn was shuffling the lines so much, cuz no one was playing good together, except lecavalier and st louis. not that im a fan of quinn's style, i think he sucks... sutter should coach next time...

way too many penalties, and nervous-no-look passes creating giveaways....

they shoulda brought some younger talent as well, like crosby, spezza, stall....

its too bad brodeur played amazing and the defense couldnt help him out much.

Quinn chews gum better than he coaches. This team was ****.

They were owned that whole game.

Now...when I see my friends who are die hard Canada hockey, flappin there gums about Italy gettin beat out of World Cup (soccer), I get my revenge...
