My father works for a clothing company, they manufacture garments. I just go to the warehouse and pick out what I need at the employee price.

I used to shop at Bloor Street, back in University. I would spent as much as 250+tax for an GA hat... I have 3 hats that cost me 250 each and I have no idea what I was thinking. But one thing though, I have never seen another guy wearing the same hat. I laugh at Von Dutch trucker hats :P

Now, I spend as little on clothing as possible, next to none.

I dunno, sometimes i buy their sweaters... for 60 bucks.. Oh wait... I shop at **** on Queens as well.

Club m, costs me not much.... Maybe 80 bucks, 2 pairs of jeans... 20 bucks for tank top shirt.. And 30 for a club m sweater.

Guess, ive gotten a few shirts, button down for 20 from the re, same with mexx. But mainly AE im paying well over 60 bucks for a damn button up shirt, same with Calvin Klien. Speakin of this thread... I need more clothes.

If a shirt costs 5 dollars to make, the manufacture will buy it and sell it to its vendors at 15 to 20 dollars (however, the employee can purchase that shirt for nearly half the price). The vendors then buys the shirt at 15 to 20 dollars and mark up the price at least 3 to 4 times - 45 to 80 bucks. Then you have taxes on top of that.

A store is still making money even if they sell all their clothes at 50% reduction, they just don't make as much.

Then you have the designer style added into the price, the name brand and the limited production, hence, a much higher price than others. Of course, with higher price, quality check is number one so generally, a well made merchandise will lasts longer than a cheaply made one.

You get what you pay for. But how much you are willing to pay is entirely up to you.

I have a ton of parasuco clothes too. That company got so overplayed that the sell it at winners now. I just bought parasuco jeans there for 30 bucks. I have a parasuco pant and jacket suit set in velvet... that was like $400.00 and a collared shirt for underneath that was like $80. So hot though. It was well worth the money.
