I see myself living in Bancroft on my land in a home I built and Married with hopefully one kid on the way. I plan to be self sufficient and provide for my new family. I also plan to raise some livestock.

5 years? Since I already own my house, this one's an easy win:
Probably the same job, but with 5 weeks vacation/year!
Completely debt free for 3 years (hopefully), with a good chunk of savings in the bank, or under my matress. Married with at least 1 kid, and driving my suped up Civic! :P

well let's see...
I'm 28 and about to go to punta cana to get married in 8 days. So in 5 years my personal mark is to be married with two kids, working as a fireman, have a house of our own, a civic for a toy in the garage, and two other mainstream vehicals for myself and the wife. After 5 years of being a fireman you graduate to first class fireman which means i'll be clearing over $84,0000. Because i'll only be working 2-3 days out of the week i'll pick up a side business and the wife won't have to work and i'll make even more money. Hopefully i'll be able to spend lot's of time with our kids as they grow up and things will be grand.
As a back up plan I wish for all the above but for work purposes i'll still be at Appliance Canada. When my boss's dad retires he'll take over the company and then since i'm his assistant right now i'll take over all his things. This way I'll still be making double what i'm making now and easily clear $84,000. Should be a win win deal either way!
All the best to everyone else and happy motoring
