I just wondering if any of you that have posted to this thread even stoped to think what you have done?

If I was a thieve....you have just listed what mods......toys.....sound system that each of you has. I would then just pick and choose which car I would want to hit first.

And you wonder why peoples cars are getting broken into.

Think before you post.

Think before you ask.

Just my 2C's....

Well I speak for myself. Of course I've stopped to think and I do realize what I have done, so I guess the admins should just delete this whole thread, since this thread is a possible threat for car owners...

Okay, let me test you. If you were a thieve and you were reading this thread...which car would you be your first hit...Let's say for (ie. Towlies car you'd hit, then where abouts are you going to find this car? And how do you really know he's telling the truth about what he has? Maybe he doesn't even have a hatch)
no offence Towlie....just trying to make a point...

I agree that this thread causes a small risk, But in matter of fact it isn't (ie..no one stated: location, address, license plate #...the info posted on this thread isn't valid enough, ...Plenty of rides get jack everyday, whether or not you post what you have...if the thieve wants your car they'll get..The only thing you can do to prevent it is to protect your own stuff or slow them down by using
(ie...alarm, autolok, etc...)

Think before you post.

Think before you ask.
I'm pretty convinced that this thread is quite useless
to use as a guide for thieves...
Ask yourself, "If I were a thief" would I read this thread to jack cars?,
I'd just go the the meets and meet everyone that has a nice car, and jack it.....this way would be so much more practical than reading a useless thread to get ideas of what to hit....

Anyways,
Thanks for the heads up,
I hope everyone got it....

I like this quote:
"Think b4 u post"
"Think b4 u ask"
"Cause if you don't, you'll get jacked"

you just answered your own question.

Your right, they can just come out to a meet and get to see the car themselfs.

But with the extra info that they get from theads like this, and also by clicking on the "profile", and ALSO checking for "all post from this user", they can get a very good idea of where this person lives....what they have.....their driving habbits....ect.

If you think that this thread is nothing to be concerned with, then why don't you give some info about what has been done to your car.....where you live.....ect.

Buy I gueess you live in world that you can leave your car unlocked, and not worry about someone comming along and jacking your stuff.

If seen it before, and I know it will happen again.

Some people have posted a little too much detail, only to tell us within a day or 2 that their car got broken into. They tell us that nothing like this has every happened to them before, and yet they don't seem to realize that ....ie.....them posting that they just got the "booming system installed the other day, and the alarm is going in next weekend", didn't have anything to do with it.

I'm not a theif, but it is VERY easy to get all the info needed to figure out which car would be worth my time, and which ones would not.

This is why I dodn't understand why this doesn't bother you. ???
