I quit cigs 2 years ago. I was a Saturday and I was hungover as fawk and had my first smoke and heaved my guts out cause of it. Havn't smoke cigs since.

Getting hit by a bus can kill you too. I smoke colts mild the odd time. Used to smoke cigs, but quit 5yrs age. If I go north, I have to have some colts with me. As far as I see it, it's your body, do what you want. If you are effecting someone else's health, stop. I hate seeing ppl with kids in their car, windows up, smoking. My wife still smokes. I want her to quit cause we want kids. Hard to do though.

I have smoked for 15 years (I was a really cool kid), anyway I quit cold turkey when I got pregnant the first time and ended up having a miscarriage. Cut down to about 3 per day when I was pregnant with Liam.

I know what you are saying about the kids thing, we NEVER smoke in the house, never in the car when he is with us. When you could smoke in restaurants, we'd sit in non-smoking.

I don't smoke I have no real desire to spend money on it when I can just hang out with peopel that do smoke and get all the second hand smoke I want for free.... why pay for something?

and for all those that said smoking was bad grow up... yes it does things that arn't good and yes all the smokers probably know this (from those labels on the packages) no need to repeat it.

It's true that everyone knows it's bad for you, but so is mcdonalds i guess.... I just think that smoking is gross, on top of being bad for you. I know people that detest mcdonalds like i do smoking, i dont' mind hanging out with people that smoke it doesn't bother me, but the worst ever is when someone you're dating smokes, it's like kissing an ashtray, and just the smell of the nicotine is horrid...

But again people have opinions on everything, no need to restate the obvious just state your opinion!
