i'm looking to get a new phone, but all the phones rogers offeres are kinda..well crappy

i'm looking for sumthing that has blutooth, and that connect to the internet- now i dont know how it works, do i have to pay rogers for when i go on the net? or can i use an existing router to connect?

i'm looking at a blackberry or maybe somehting from another country, they have some nice GSM phones in amreica

if any1 can help me out id appreciate it

any GSM phone will work on the Rogers network as long as its unlocked....if you want to buy a phone from a provider you should look at Fido, GSM, same network as rogers, but different phones (they have more Sony Ericsson phones), different price plans (I think thier better, per second billing)

IMO Palm Treo>Blackberry...

althought if it was a corprate thing I would be all over the blackberry

I like those RAZR's.. the look of them anyways.. I could give a **** about the functions as long as you can talk on it lol.. all the ring tones and internet and bull**** you don't need it on a phone.. I was thinking of picking one of those up but just don't want to be paying any more monthly bills than I already am lol

i know, its an awesome phone! i love it so far, the only think i am scared about is how long the battery will last before it dies since i love my cell's to have great battery life....but it looks awesome, sounds awesome, camera quality is good for a phone, and it works...what more could i ask for?...lol

yea they have nice plans but if u could get a sinal on them mabie u could make a call i never has dignal took the phone back the next day they said u should have called us and had it checked i told them i couldent make a call cus the phone is a pos thats why

i'm pretty good when it comes to phones, i got my phone from kuwait, but i wanted somthing wiht internet, rather than lugging a laptop around the place, but i guess i will wait a bit and check nokia's new tablet pc phone

fido and rogers charge an arm and a leg for data on cell phones. U'll spending well over $100 if your surfing the net on you cell

i concur...s710a is a great phone but there are some things I miss about the razr the s710 doesnt do or does for no reason

it does some stupid text messsage **** when u get a voicemail and when u input a number for voicemail or whatever when ur done the call the numbers are still on the screen...just some small annoyances that maybe a firmware upgrade would remedy
