1) Assign an MP3 song as a ringtone
2) Run Windows Mobile compatible software on it....dunno how

I can tell you...in order to install software it must be in it's docking cradle or sync cradle. you need a pc to run the software first.

don't know about the ring tone mp3 thing though.
