what a waste of space.... i come to TCC to read...and even learn... not to see this guy or girl posting CRAP on every thread

seriously tho... not all of gatherer's posts are useless. Although I quickly skim through a lot of them, seeing as I'm well aware that he indeed makes at least one comment per thread.

Well, when I first came to the board, I wasn't aware of the term Post Whoring. Well, from where I used to post, there ain't no such thing.
It is like, Post Hijacking. You post other stuff off topic and eventually takes away the essence of the initial thread. That's one type of posting style to be honest. And Chit Chat is Off Topic really, which means, you get to post anything you want. One-liner, jokes, sarcasm, anything goes. Gatherer is a pay member on the board and part of his donation goes to the board maintenance as well so really, he has every right to post his opinion. Whether it is useless or not, or whether he is joking or not, it matters not. It might be funny, or it might be a flame but it is a public board and on public boards, you either read it or you ignore it.
Sure you don’t like him being a post addict, maybe some other people don’t as well. But quite frankly, I don’t really mind, at all.
I mean, it is really just take it or leave it. If TCC means Civics only to you, then by all means, read the car threads (I do too). If you don’t like reading what he types, just ignore him.

i dont think gatherers posts are annoying, he has a right to post here as much as the rest of us. sure he posts more than the average user on here but who cares? he hasnt hurt anyone has he? most of his posts i find are humorous or hes just trying to help others out. yeah some are pointless but who hasnt made a pointless post on here? if you dont like his posts just dont read them is that so hard?
