so cant i just put my lappy in my carry on .. and when i say media .. my boy has a 60gb hdd camcorder we are takin down .. we dont want that to fill up .. so once it starts to fill we would dump it on the lappy .. same with my boys digi cam .. im sure after 3-4 days of sloppyness they will fill up .. i just wanna have the lappy there to store **** on as we fill up our media ... it doesnt seem worth it to buy more just for this ..

spend $150 on more storage or carry a laptop to cuba and back.

up to you.

i don't know anything about the video cam... but flash memory sticks are dirt cheap.

4GB sony pro duo is $120...

if you're gonna take it, make sure it's on your person.. never put valuables in your checked luggage..

we only searched hotels in the 4 - 4.5 star range cause 5 star is pure old ppl and honeymooners ...

2 diffrent rate scales .... did i miss something ?
maybe I misinterpreted what you said.. but you said:

as well traveladvisor gave it 4 outta 5 which is higher than any of the other hotels in the 4 - 4.5 star range ...

so in the 4-4.5 range how is a hotel with 4 star higher than any of the others?

i was just wondering what input you guys had for someone who has never been .. ive heard the give gifts ie (soap, toothpaste ect) to the maids to keep em happy .. and about where and where not to buy cigars (doubt i will buy any anyways)

but yea ill be stayin at the Barcelo Solymar for 1 week and the hotel looks AMAZING

i love how the rooms look down into the lobby / terrace !

any thing i should know ?

Discuss...

Terry it's too bad you didnt want to go to a 5 star... since it's full with old people and honeymooners, I guess you and your boys will be shacking up with these lovely ladies at your resort (check out top pic)...I guess these arent considered old, or are these your type???. lol

Also the laptop, mucho bad idea.. the safes are not big enough to hold the laptop, and the hassle at the airport Im sure you dont want to deal with it...buy the extra storage.

I'll post some pics of our resort, ours was a 5 star...you know us honeymooners..

5 star sucks... i went once... i'll never go again.. had a wicked time.. but all couples and families at the resort.. plus the mexican ladies would replace our ashtrays every two minutes... you couldnt relax in your own filth.

who cares about towels folded into swans before you grab them to rub on your crotch after a shower?

I'll add some pics of my 4 star vacation with 12 idiots.

this is what giving the late night snack bar guys some jeans and sports t-shirts gets you all week (when they are there and assuming they remember you)

here we're getting drunk in the morning with two old guys. they made fun of their wives that they go on vacation and drag them out shopping and don't let them drink.

they were in the military, we talked about guns too.

the one guy made some jokes about us being a gang.. them homos.. that's when we started asking him more questions about his daughter and he shut his mouth.

we continued to ask if he would introduce us when we got back.

(they were from oshawa)

fxck the dog.... taking a nap with one of the idiots.

there were a couple of 'homeless' dogs just walking around.

at arenas blancas we kept the windows open to get more lizards running around our room..
