Thx EKDUDE!!!
Yes, I agree with you, posting it in the public without knowing who is reading the board will greatly diminish the value of the information should the information be passed on to the po.

Thanks once again EKDUDE!!!

omg you guys over here are way too paranoid. Don't you think cops know about these kind of websites? You think they'd shut down a site cause of that kind of info? Don't you think if they were going to shut down a site they would have shut down TSR a long time ago? That speed trap site has been up for a long time and it seems that everyone over here, especially EK DUDE needs to chill out.

I would just like you to explain your logic for a second. Why do you think the site would have been shut down?

That link that sir_speed posted has been posted on a much more popular message forum with a subject that causes a lot more attention from police. And still, the site is still up, and the same speed traps are used. The cops are fully aware of those types of websites, and they don't shut them down. There is nothing illegal about informing people of speed trap locations. Informing people just makes the cops job that much harder.

EKdude: I can't seem to figure out what your logic is here. What's the big deal? Do you think that site is some huge underground operation that nobody knows about? I think it's time you come into the real world and breath the reality.

Posting it in public without knowing who is reading the board "will greatly diminish the value of the information" should the information be passed on to the po.

Well whoever started that post in that "more popular" forum obviously wasn't thinking.
Nothings wrong with sharing the info, but at least do it in such a manner where it's a little more discrete, other wise the information will be de-valued and be worthless.. Just because other people are doing it in their forum doesn't make it right... "if you see someone jump off a building, would you do the same" ok, I may be a little extreme, but you get the point.

Now, not unless your a cop how do you know of this? I have stumpled across many sites like these and they've been down.

first of all, I never said it was illegal to inform people of speed traps. Informing people publicly will only have the cops change locations of their traps which defeats the whole purpose making it harder for US, which means more tickets for you and I and everyone else. Who in the right mind would want that?

In general, If you knew sensitive information, would you share it with the whole world? Or would you only share it with those who benefit from it?

The thing is, its not really that sensitive information. And you are all uptight about the cops changing where they radar because its posted up on a message board? There are thousands of cars that will go through that radar trap and i'm sure they don't care about maybe a handful of cars that know where it is.

And why are you so worried about radar traps? You should know where to speed and where not to. If you are not familiar with the area you shouldn't be driving way over the speed limit anyways.

And the entire devaluing thing i don't agree with. When there are huge cop blitzes they always announce it on the radio and does that devalue it and make it worthless?

Oh and if there's one site that cops would traffic the most it is TSR. Oh and by the way, we do have proof of that. We know of certain officers that frequent the board quite often. We have lots of stuff on that website and have we ever been shut down?

I have been driving for over 5 years and i have yet to get a speeding ticket cause i know where to speed and where not to speed.

Informing people publicly will only have the cops change locations of their traps which defeats the whole purpose making it harder for US, which means more tickets for you and I and everyone else. Who in the right mind would want that?
I like what you said there the most cause you seem aggrevated that they may change where they radar so you will get more tickets for breaking the law by speeding. If you get nabbed for speeding its only your fault.

Hey Ev1!! Lets Chill,I know da temp is hot today lol

Jay's original intention was to use the information and benefit the TCC society. His purpose was to ****** the information only from within the TCC group, for he feels that as a participant in the club, he should share the information with wholeheartedly only within the group he feels trustworthy, so that the information remains as sensitive as possible. I bet Jay did not know, beforehand that the information is so public and well-known.

On the other hand tho!! Most of you might have already know such website, here is a story:

A: "Hey you know what, if you give me your strut bar, I will tell you a big secret in school!"

B: "No way man, you try to rip me off man?"

A: "OOOOOOkkkkk, you will miss out on the gossip then."

B: "How about telling me secretly yo!"

A: "KKKKKK, you know C sitting next to you, he is gay lol"

B: ".............."

B knew this a long time ago.

anyways, lets stay as a happy family!!!!!!!!!
