Why do you user's go invisible?
Why do some user's use this option?

For me personally, I like to know who is on the board.

I mean, the worst thing that can happen if someone see's you online is send you a pm.

I don't get it.

I have a tendancy to get spammed pm box when they see me online

I used to be visable, but after you get hammered by 20 different PM's every other day, you start to see the advantage of being a 'ghost'.


Just look at the person's profile.....it will tell you when the person last posted. If it's within 5-10 minutes, there's usually a good chance they still might be online.


That's how I do it.

Sometimes I spend all day or all night on here... or both.

Now wouldn't I look like a loser if ppl saw me online for that length of time?

Well I guess I can be visible again now that everyone knows the big secret.

Personally I made myself invisible once (forget why), and then it automatically runs that way until you change it. Too lazy to change it

anyways invisable mode is a good way to cut down on PM's I get lots of junk sent to me from time to time.....

i know how the admins and mods feel... when i am on msn and/or icq i am on invisable 90% of the time... i've even made seperate emails for msn so people on my big list can't see me being online... hahaha suckers....
