Why the red 'x' s ?

Does anyone know why this hapens? I am constantly gettin gred x's by the pics that wont open. Sometimes on this site and other times on other sites

Why???

If it's like your signature, it's because you're using Tripod and they don't allow offsite linking.

and red x's usuually mean your computer can't communicate with the computer hosting the pics to get them sent to it .. this could be because of security features, or your internet settings or internet lag time or the server security settings or the server's internet hosting settings... or the server doesn't have the file...

many possible answers...

if it happens here... press refresh

if it happens because you're trying to link pics or smiles from here to another site... it's because tcc files are protected and we don't allow that

Try lowering your security settings in IE.

Some pics come with evil cookies and your browser will refuse to load if your security settings are wrong.

Can you right click and save as??

it only happens on some sites though? is there like a patch to fix this im using IE 6 XP pro, ne thing out there?

If you can't right click and save as the pic cannot be found.

Then you get a red x..
