I have had my steelies with all seasons on all year. I blew a tire last year and never got it replaced. My hubby then sold our rims to a guy from work and we haven't replaced them yet either. We are thinking of getting some good snow tires this year though after sliding around all last winter.

I normally put my winter tires on around mid November, depending on what the weather is like.
Though this year I'm storing the car, so no need to worry about that. My Paradas hate the cold rain, Zero traction so its somewhat like driving on ice. Fun yes, if there were no cars on the road.

You mean those weren't the new "RA1 snow slicks" I saw on your car at the last meet?

Are the Graspics really horrible in dry? Would X-Ice be a better choice?

About 15 KM on 407/Hwy7 at ~ 90.

graspics are fine in the dry, jus a bit sloppy thats all. X ice are more money but probably are better so its up to you if your willing to dish out the extra money.

the graspics have good traction is snow but are sloppy and follows the ruts to easily.

i replaced them with the nordic icetraks which i found to be a good bargain considering their price and handle better than the graspics even in the snow.

just installed my blizzaks front and graspics rear tonight, oh man, i'm missing my hankook Z212's already. car is much more sloppy now as it was with pirelli winter on rear before, side to side is sloppy as hell but i guess its to be expected unless you get an H rated performance winter tire with stiff sidewalls, oh well...has to be done.

2.75" drop...wicked, i need my driveway plowed, lol. that drop is gonna be fun in the snow, especially when we get lots of it thats why i'm raising my car back to stock.

Ya, my Parada's are getting really loud and don't grip half as well in these cold temps. Winters might be coming on sooner than expected.
