Winter Vacation?

Hey guys, I am looking for advice regarding a winter vacation. I want to go away somewhere in February. I was thinking Cuba because I want to go somewhere I haven’t been yet. I’ve been to Montego Bay, Jamaica; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; Cancun, Mexico. I am starting to think I don’t want to go to Cuba after reading the reviews. It seems that people last year experienced only 3 sunny days out of 7, other days were cool and cloudy. I guess this is average there for that time of year? I was looking at Veradero, Cuba. Does anybody have any information regarding Veradero, in February? What about other places that I didn’t mention above? Anybody have any recommendations? I am looking for a touristy area that will be fun, people our age, with perfect weather for the entire stay, haha, who wouldn’t eh! So, what you guys think?

Plus if anybody wants to know about the places I've been to I can give some advice. Also, if someone wants to come along then contact me, the more the better!

The peak tourist season is from mid-December to mid-March, plus July and August. The average yearly temperature is 24°C/75°F, though in January and February it can drop to 15°C/59°F or less. The dry season lasts from November to April and the wet season from May to October.

i was in veredero cuba in october and it was about 30 deg every day.. not sure about february, but veredero is really nice, depending on what resort your at

Barcelo Solamar was where i was and it was real nice

any of the beaches or sandals resorts are nice, try and stay away from resorts situated in the town of veredero itself, they arent as nice if you ask me, less area to roam and smaller beach area

Vacation is what you make of it. It rainned every single day of my last vacation and we still had a great time. Never been to varadaro but heard good things. Dominican is a great spot, Cancun is the ultimate party place if that's what you're looking for.

What exactly are you looking for? Party, touristy stuff, beach? If you're looking to party then nevermind cool weather, chances are you'll be too hung over to enjoy the beach in the morning and too drunk to enjoy the beach in the afternoon.

I vote Cancun. It has absolutely everything. The only drawback (if you care) is that the hotel strip is very Americanized. You won't see a local person or anything authentic without going into town or taking a tour. I went there with a bunch of guys and had a great time. Couple of years later I went with the girlfriend only and still had a great time. Also, Cancun is rediculously expensive. Entry to a club cost $30-40USD but drinks are included all night and it's still worth it.

If you have the cash, go to Cancun. Where you stay will depend on what crowed you are going with. Don't take your girlfriend or wife to Oasis or Blue Bay... you'll come back single for sure.

Ya, even when you go to town in Cancun you pass by Wal Mart and Costco!

cancun is unreal! You must experience it at least once!

We stayed right across the street from G-spot and I still say that is by far the best club ever!
