Had them done seperately. The bottom two were impacted, had to break them at the gum and then remove the roots. Yuck! The top came out a couple of years later. No prob. they weren't painful at all. The bottoms were, I didn't eat for 3 days, lost 10 pounds cause all I could do is drink liquids......(no alcohol). Also had stiches from where they had to cut the gums to remove the roots.

I took all 3 out (never knew where the 4th one was) at once, when I was in OAC. 11 years ago maybe? I was so drugged that I insisted on going back to school. Everyone knew I had my wisdom teeth taken out and when my yellow *** showed up at the physics class, the teacher asked me: "Charles, what the hell are you doing here?"

"I am here to get educated, Sir."

"Very well then, how many fingers am I holding up?" (he had 3 up)

"uumm.... 2? uummm....... "

"Just sit down...."

What can I say, I was a very good student, never missed a single class in all my high school life.

had mine done last april. put me out and removed all 4. i woke up in the middle of the surgery and they were talking to me. it was weird. like an out of body experiece. woke up with bruises ALL over my face. on my forehead. my cheeks, my chin, my neck,,, everywhere. my mom was mad cause she wondered what happened to me. the doctor said it was just from poking and proading. ouch. looks more like i got beat up. 2 week recovery. mostly for the injuries to my face than the teeth themselves. sorry about the horror story.

Think having your wisdom pulled is bad? Try having your gum cut then the bone lowered around your molar, not fun. had it done twice.............

Im pretty sure its all worth it though. I've had 8 retainers, 4 years of braces, 2 jaw surgeries, 4 teeth pulled and my wisdom teeth out (all because of 2 slightly overlapping teeth). but came out with this...

sorry about the gay picture but you get the idea.

You think this is painful. Lets try a root canal. Now those are painful.

i could be wrong but i beleive it has something to do with then nerve or veins of the tooth, my mom had it done when she had some virus in her mouth

Root canal is when you pull the nerve out of the root of that particular tooth. Usually when it is rotten to hell and beyond repair and fillers. They pull everything out then they nail a little steel stud into the jaw bone, and make a crown over it. I have one. Mine had to be done because it was chipped in half, so that half *** tooth is useless.

People with root canal done will have black colour gum lines, because there is no nerve, and the skin turns black.
