Getting a flu shot today only protects you fromflustrains that the medical world knows about and has a shot for. You can still get sick from a new or current flu strain.

^^ BC charges for your health card. So they want to charge me $176 every three months and they want me to pay retro-actively since I've lived (aug 05) here for services I haven't used. When you've been going to school for a year and not working, then taking a month off and being a bum. Its hard to come up with the cash for something you don't use...

except that my OHIP card expires on my B-day in 13days. When I was home earlier in the month I unsuccessfully tried to defraud health care and get It renewed. So, eventually im going to have to pay...

As long as I don't get injured at work I should be fine, Im pretty healthy, only get a cold once a year or so. If I had to go to the hospital I would just have to pay..

make sure you get the right kind of board or its really hard! I couldn't belive that new boards are $800! then you have to buy a suit which isn't to bad 400-600... otherwise its the best thing since sliced bread!

I need a diferent board to get the hang of surfing. Due to the previously mentioned high price, I bought the cheapest used board I could find. Unfortunately its more a "competition" style, short, and pointy. So, it makes it really hard to learn, I want to get another around 7'2" round nose...
