True, my aunt is a teacher but it still took her forever to get a work visa. Lots of money and lots of time but she finally got one, then I think she said something that because she had a visa her husband (who moved there with her at the same time) didnt need to apply for one? I'm not sure, maybe just that once she had one it was easier for him to get his

i have a computer degree. I heard that there are some agencies/companies that will send you over there to work. I mean, they hire you in Canada under their company but then you actually will be working in the states, so basically you live and work there but since it's a Canadiian company that hired you and "work" for, you can by pass the visa and all..

Just some info for you...
Do not work for a Canadian Company in the US, or if you do don't plan ever to move back to Canada.
I work in bankruptcy, and I just did one for a retired gentleman who worked for Air Canada and lived and worked in the US, paid US taxes.
When he retired, he moved his family back to Canada. Revenue Canada assessed him for 30 years of back taxes, over half a million dollars plus interest.

did he move back out of canada?
best thing to do is buy three houses... in 3 different countries... spend 1/3 of the year in each... you're not a resident in any of the countries... thus, don't have to pay any of them any taxes...
takes about $10K/year in accounting.. but it can be done... zero taxes!
