Would you pay this much for these cars?

I have a couple of Trini friends that are going to school here. They showed me a cool website of a car dealership that gets sick cars...and they showed me how to convert to CDN from TT dollars. Now my argument is although these cars are sick, i still think they are way too expensive...they think it's a good deal

Check it...would you pay

57000 CDN/2002 Honda Integra type R (brand new)

56000$ CDN/ 1999 Toyota Altezza with 42000km

29000$ CDN/ 1998 Toyota 4WD Turbo Celica

50000$ CDN/ 2002 VW Golf 1.8T with 240 HP

38000$ CDN/ Lancer Evo 6 with 280hp

Not really, but I saw the sticker of an Alero today...$47000 so that in mind, maybe. But that Golf I could duplicate in LHD for half the money. If anything, I'd get that 1998 Celica AWD. Pure hehe The Type R...pretty tempting, and it would probably get the nod from me if that was that price for the car here in Canada and on the road. Not the IS300...

Remember, the S2000 is $50K here in Canada...so, Type R or S2000?

That Lancer is pretty cheap in comparison to the other cars.

Thats expensive....but is that with shipping? and border taxes? Maby in the end your paying $70 000......???no way man. My friend just piced up a mint 93 twin turbo rx7 for $20 000. You can even get a supra here for like $40 000. Its better to shop here unless you have a hook-up.

prices are kinda high
for $38,000 it's possible to get the Lancer Evo VII, converted to LHD and shipped ( w/o taxes etc. )

i would jump on the lancer VI, then the AWD Celica Turbo....
but if there was an R34, lol, i'd be all over it!!

Those prices seem a lil high, check these out http://www.bestjapancar.com Here's a good example, 98 Skyline GT Turbo for $25,828.00 CDN, that in my opinion is a good deal.

The website I used was www.x-rates.com

Putting 1,990,000Y into the calculator gave me that number... (isnt it like 80 or so yen for every cdn dollar?)

Also got G2 Racer to check www.xe.com he got 25,801.96 CAD for the car.

So unless the price I saw is wrong, I'm right lol
