it looks like I might just keep the civic a tad longer than I want to...its gonna be bad enough to pay like 40bucks to fill a tank let alone damn near 70 in a bigger car

civic tanks are 45litres (well most of them) when bare dry...if I fill up its around 40litres and at 90+ cents thats damn well near 40bucks...like 36bucks
I remember when I first had my license 20bucks would fill the tank...15bucks usually lasts me all week to and from work and a lil here and there action
now imagine owning a SUV 65+litre gas tank...filling up like 2wice a week...120bones a week on gas gone...NO THANKS!!!

what does it matter, eveyrone will get used to these prices cause they will be the norm...
when it drops down to like 80 cents people will go crazy later...
they're training everyone...
i rmemember when my parents own a sunoco in scarb, back like 10 years ago... when it was like 52.4 no one every filled up cause 49.9 was the norm... 44.9 even...
so get used to it...

That kept me for 5 day work we back and forth to work, about 30min one way and some running around at night. Weekends I spent another $60 maybe.

You drive a Civic. Suck it up. Move on with your life. This happened last year as well and everyone raised a big hoo-haa about it and when the prices came back down, people moved on.
It only adds up to like $2 in the grand scheme of things. Imagine having to fill up the tank for a bigger car!

The only advantage at this point is that we can bring our Civics out now and leave the gas guzzlers at home. My truck has been in the garage (with a full tank of gas) for a week. I spent $88.00 to fill it up twice in 6 days. Forget it. The Civic took $27 or something to fill it 3 quarters. I have now gone just over 100km & still have more than 3 quarters left.

What do you people complain about:
Civic = 45L x 94 cents regular
Prelude = 60L x 1.04 premium
I'm not going to complain, I choose to drive and I chose this car...
Everything costs...It's all relative...
Be thankful your not in Britain or Netherlands, its over $2 per litre.
