WTF! Gas prices again.

I've been off work for a few days and haven't really left the house. I go to get gas this morning and it's 101.9 at Petro for the cheap stuff. Did I miss something? Some dude blows himself up at Timmies and gas goes up? WTF!?!?!

I put gas in my car twice per month so I can't really complain, but it's true, gas prices are just out of control. That's why I am seriously thinking about perhaps getting a hybrid as my next car.

For only putting gas in twice a month, I really dont think a hybrid would make much of a differnce lol.

hybrid only makes sense if you do A LOT of city driving.....if you look at the numbers for the civic hybrid, where it really shines is in the city, on the highway its still really good, but not significantly better than the regular civic

Went to Venezuela 2 months ago....

we filled up an 80's Jeep... it cost less than 1 canadian dollar...

.02 cents per litre or some insane amount like that...

I know this is because Chavez subsidizes the oil (with Venezuela having a lot)...

but because we're part of stoooooo... pid OPEC, and though Canada has huge reserves... we have to pay market price....

why can't we get a PM like that Chavez guy!!!! WTF!@!!!!!

hybrid's have a costly expensive lead acid battery you have to replace. these batteries are also horrible for the environment.
