go around the block (closest to the gas station)...take plate(s) off...fill up.....jump in car.....GO GO GO*...and go back around block or whereever and stick plates back on...Luckily on EF's we have the nice slots for the rear plate
P.S. Dont think about it cause if you do then you WILL leave the gas cap on the pump
*u can even stick the finger at the clerk as u are GO GO GOing

stealing from the pumps now there is a great Idea...
you: pick up the pump and select the fuel octane level you want
Station worker: sees no plate and decides not to activate the pump. most pumps require the store clerk to hit a button before they activate...
you: drive off empty handed...
Brillant strategy...

lol ya, and some of them are really slow to activate it so it should be obvious
or u can steal plates off another car and slap em on ur car and fill up and not pay and leave and ditch the plates
but thats a lot of work and hassle just to save urself $50
just pay the price, no need to steal anything

I am reading some of these posts and I can't believe the immaturity level of some individuals on this board. Why would you want to steal gas? Why would you want to steal anything?
After all we are all driving Civics, and to fill up shouldn't cost us more than 40-50 bucks. If you don't have 50 bucks to fill up your tank you should bike or walk.

he wants to steal gas cuz he paid his membership for $30 bought like 8 rattle cans to bomb his other civic needlessly $80...so he's broke until next week when his pay from rotten ronalds comes in.

I doubt the people in California drive small sub-compacts. Stop eating out at McDonald's for lunch and make a damn sandwich and theres your 5 extra dollars for gas, and you may even lose a roll or two.

the problem is that its GOING TO KEEP RISING in a short period of time.
usually gas remains within the same price range for several years but since 01 gas has been going up faster.
and yes cars run on gas and people should have know they need gas but what about the people that have had cars since the early 90's? they expected gas to increase over a longer period of time not within weeks.
that being said i still dont give a **** how much it costs
