actually i bought the ****tiest flat black sandable primer which was like $4.89/can and I only used 6 cans (I didnt give a **** and didnt even sand)
As for the gas **** em. They raise the price so they get ****ed. I used to pay like $30 for a fillup. Now I pay $45 if Im totally dry so it adds up by the end of the month

oil and coal are finite resources on this planet.. the issue is it won't take a running out of oil to cause a major Economic collapse...
All it takes is the price of oil to rise enough that the price of gas is unreachable for most without going into debt to obtain it. this will result in higher debt loading on the average Joe and end result will be mass bankrupcies and foreclosures, basically an economic collapse the likes of which we have never seen before (including the great collapse that lead to the great depression)
What peopel have to start doing now to mitigate the damage from this collapse is to reduce their need for Oil.
now you might think cool I'll do that, it'll be easy I'll copy gatherer and ride my bike to work. Well thats not enough. Sure you won't personally need oil to get around with a bike. but your not looking at the bigger picture.
you are at the end of a huge supply chain that is designed to keep you alive. This includes food supply chains and grids like the water and electrical grids. What is the common fact about these grids? They require Fossil fuel energy to keep going. the food distribution system is based on oil, the distance food has to travel to get to your plate is amazingly far. Should the cost of oil become high enough that truckers can't do a run without going into debt to do so they will stop. seriously would you give me 5 dollars if I only gave you 1 dollar back.. that is essentially what it will be like. with high prices of Oil the store shelves will go bear. With the Coal fired electrical plants unable to get coal because all trains are now diesel the rolling blackouts will start and without electricity the water grid will stop being able to pump water... taps will run dry.
you must become Oil independant if you wish to have a better chance of surviving the coming crash. How? Bike to work is a good start. but you also have to secure a source of food (gardenning would be a good start) and a source of water and electricity or Heat ...
from the reading I've done we have 5 years till it's all over. becareful out there the world you live through most of your Adult life will not be the same world your parents grew up in.

So I am filling up gas from my regular station, as Im leaving I see this huge argument happens.
From what I could tell, I assume one guy cut in front of another guy to fill up gas (it was 91.5 btw). The car that was cut off had a caucasian couple, and the car that cut them off had a middle eastern gentlemen. (They were waiting for two different pumps, on two different sides of the station btw. It was a fair and square move)
Anyhow, the caucasian guy gets out of his car, and starts swearing at the other guy. He then takes his gas nozzle, and yells you want free gas you son of a bitch, Ill shove it up your ***.
I think at this point, the other guy says something in his language.
The caucasian guy goes to the window of the guy’s car and yells some random stuff back at him. The this dudes wife starts swearing at the middle eastern dude.
So the caucasian gentlemen is about to punch the middle eastern guy (btw he didn’t say anything back during all the yelling). His wife was holding him back, and at this point the wife yells "Are you a Muslim, go back to your ****ing country, damn people killers." (I hear this, and I was about to say something back. That comment was stupid and definetly uncalled for)
At this point the husband grabs his wife and they are about to get back to the car.
Now during all this, 2 middle eastern guys filling up at a different pump (they were driving a white hatch, with a cf hatch and muffler from what I could see btw), start yelling at the wife for making that Muslim comment.
Eventually it dies down, and people drive off. I thought it was quite funny how crazy people get over gas!
