Does any body expect a Microsoft system to NOT crash? The words crash and Microsoft are synonymous.

I've had my 360 since the 14th (won the pepsi contest), since then I've played ohh 20hours or so on it, 4-5 hours straight once zero problems.

Isolated incidents is what these are, how many people are going to say they got a good system? People only report bad news.

And if you think only MS makes products that have to be recalled, better check sony's PS2 record, 3.5 million power adaptors recalled last month from the slimline series. And PS2s have been around for a while now, you'd think that sony would have have caught this before shipping?

Personally if you want one now, buy it (just not off ebay) when you get the chance, if it gets recalled big whoop, you get a new system. I can't wait for the ps3 to launch, something like this will happen to them and everyone will say how crappy sony is for releasing their product. And while I'm waiting for that day I'll be playing Project Gotham 3 and Perfect Dark 0 on live with my shiny HDTV.

Please dont compare xbox to the ps3 in terms of reliablity and sale, sony owns in this regard(dont even bother replying to this)
, Microsoft rushed there system so that it be out for xmas simple as that, and now your slowly seeing the consequences.

Cool, but you feel the system is even worth the 400-500 retail?
And dont even get me started on the 1200 in classifieds, that post is worse than spam.

here's the thing, it hasn't even been 1 week yet and there have been ALOT of complaints about xbox 360's.

"According to Reuters and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, Sony received 38 reports of the adapters overheating in North America. Reports to the CPSC included two minor burns, one minor shock, and four reports of minor property damage.

Microsoft ran into similar problems with the power cords of the Xbox, and initiated a recall for more than 14 million AC adapters. Once again, overheating was cited as the problem."

3.5 million recalls compared to 14 million. sony only had 38 ppl complaint after aobut half a year whereas xbox has had hundreds complain in a matter of days.....it's obvious the xbox 360 has alot of glitches.

i certainly hope your xbox will be fine in 6 months from now but i wouldn't bet on it

some guy in the classified section was trying to sell xbox360 for 1000 or 1200... those who buy at that price are dumbass, those who sell at that price are morons.... those who bought a lot of the systems trying to make money are stupid bitcches now and those who never bought one are smart hahaha

if i have 1g... i would spend it on some warm winter clothing, car stuff, and a good xmas present for my gf and eat well... not worth it on a game system i probably only play like 10-20 hrs a month... haha

Well you should check out the class action lawsuit someone made against sony for faulty dvd lasers. Every consoles has problems, when your producing millions of products its impossible to find all problems on the line.

My PS2 still works great, it's probably because I've only played it 20hrs in the last 2 years lol
