Every enthusiast board that I've visited has nothing but disdain for these two assclowns and disdain for anyone who streetraces/disturbs the public in any sense of the word. How can we as members of car clubs demonstrate to the police that not all enthusiasts are idiots? Somethings gotta be done because the enthusiast is getting a bad rap.

stop adding fart cans to our cars .. thats a first ..

u know what i dont get .... OK ..

yes this is a car "enthusiast" msg booard thats fine.... TCC does not allow racing of any sort neither do they support it ...

HOWEVER .. we constantly get criticism, hate, encouragement to swap our motors ....

now me as a civic driver, i like to make my car look nice .. but for all of you that are bashing "racers" and alla that .. whats the point of swapping ur stock motor for a B series or K series ? woudlnt the point of that allow ur car to go faster or have more torque ??

so for all of you that are sayin these guys are assclowns YES I AGREE ..

BUT ... look under ur own hood and ask yourself .. what did i spend 1500+ on a new motor to allow my car to do ?

just a quick thought for all u "swappers"

no problems with me if they take it to the track...

you could ask those who buy fast cars in general the same question

do you really need an STI, vette, or even the type s or civic si?

a k series swap is going to happen for my car some time in the future ... but the only place i know i will even try to test it would be if i took it to the track...

heh reallllllllllllly now .. so ur gonna spend 2g's plus on a new motor just to use it maybe 3 times a year ?

honnestly as fine as that sounds to ur normal browesr of this form that doesnt seem worth it or believeable to me ... not to say that i think ur gonna race but everyone usually swaps to get more power .. why do u need more power for a car that can already easily do over than the allowed speed limit ...

and as for the fast cars thing .. ya thats fine those are fast cars but they are fast cars STOCK ..no teaking .. no mods .. nothing .. and insurance will be based upon that .. but insurance on civics will continue to go up with ppl doing stupid shizzz like these 2 dudes ..

Why are all of your Surprised that this is going to bite us in the ***?

you know what most of you think of Police Officers? that they all hate us and what not. well it's the few bad apples on the police force you've run into... Most Police officers are great people to deal with...

it's the same deal with car clubs. a few bad members taint our image. We are all part of the modified car crowd image. a few bad apples doing something stupid will taint that image. This shouldn't surprise anyone. If we want to correct the situation we need every member that contributes to this image to ask themselves before they do anything "How will this action reflect on my peers?" of course that is not likely to happen.

you can easily race, for cheap, every weekend, from April to October in Ontario, without doing anything illegal on the streets...

Autoslalom is where the cheap racing is.

put it this way Terry

the ppl who know me personally on tcc know that i wouldnt street race or try anything stupid on the street... not that type of person at all

so what if someone wants to swap an engine, give their car a bit more kick, as long as they are responsible for their actions and what not i could care less

well if you drive like an idiot and give a reason for a cop to question your vehicle.... well then your asking for it!

as long as my car meets the HTA requirements i dont see a problem at all if a cop asked me about my car....

TRUTH!!!

my car has everythign from a spare tire to emmisions control units and a cat this time around and cops are always cool when i show them the cars mods have been done right and with the right parts

cops are there to take unsafe cars off the road, not fast cars off the road.

people always complain "oh the cops gave me this and that ticket" but the fact is it was unsafe and it's your own fault.

i would love to see the give these punk kids some community service that involves the daughter that the parents left behind.

make those ****ing punks look her in the eye and tell her that their little honda project cars are the reason that she'll grow up with out parents.

the only problem i see with this is if i decide to give my car a little more gas than usual during accelerating..will the cop automatically assume im "racing" the other car..and then lose my licence..thats not fair

on top of street racers, there are a lot of guys (my stereotype is the 40 year old guy in the audi) on the road that drive at pretty high speeds and put just as many, if not more people in danger on the roads....if racing is going to get such a harsh penalty, then so should reckless driving.
