i still think they were racing, prolly a couple of ricer buddies with some new fartcan exhausts which make their cars turn into racecars.

obviously they are going to keep insisting that it wasnt a race.

Yup.... if you're not willing or able to take a hard stand and cull the bad apples out of the barrel, the whole barrel quickly gets seen as tainted.

What proof do any of you have it was or wasn't a race. Double_B said it right, they were both speeding. That is the fact in this whole matter. Keep it to the facts, not your personal or media's opinion. The media is a one sided story to everything negative in the world, no **** they're gonna put these guys down

They'll never stop street racing. NEVER.

ive seen the guy in the red eg around... he is friends with someone i know and lets put it this way... the way he drove his car - he had something like this coming..... no one deserves a consequence this tragic but i dont believe for a second that they were not racing when they collided with the car.

Witnesses also travelling on the highway report being passed by the two Hondas travelling at extremely high speed. This originates not from the media but from the police. Racing doesn't necessarily have to be a *****-out 1/4-mile contest in order to be considered racing. At a certain point, extremely excessive speeding effectively becomes racing as far as normal traffic flow is concerned.

They'll never stop street racing? Maybe not. They'll also never stop impaired driving, but that won't stop society from making life very difficult for anyone caught doing so, including imposition of criminal penalties and records on street racers and impaired drivers alike.

If people want to risk criminal conviction in exchange for driving thrills, they make their choice and the bed in which they must eventually lie, whether that bed is six feet under or deep in the bowels of a prison.

haha, you guys talk so much smack, people been racing for f*cking 100 years and the closest track near here is like 2 hours away.

Most people that start races are the rich cocky bastards with their $50000 + car (or kids with these cars that they daddy bought them), and that is what drives (has always driven) people to race. Blame society...

very true, there are a lot of people who are clueless when making turns no matter how fast/slow the approaching cars are going.
