i've heard of this happen before, some people don't gain that much weight when they're pregnant, or if they're already a little over weight they wouldn't really notice the gained weight
and as bruno said, some girls are irregular so they wouldn't notice, or sometimes (very rare) ladies can still get their period when they're pregnant (it's just very light)

ok I don't buy that excuse SCG only because there would be one important thing happening that would not be explained by extra unnoticed wieght.
and thats when the kid starts kicking, how do you not notice a kid kicking from inside? bad indegestion? either way even if I thought it was bad indegestion I'd still be seeing a doctor for it...

i'm not saying that she's not stupid, i'm just saying that this has happened b4 and it's not the first case....
don't get me wrong, i don't understand it at all
and as for the baby kicking, maybe she did just think she was kinda sick and remember that americans don't have any health care like we do, so to go to the doctor they have to pay, maybe she didn't have insurance??
