i have a few to add:
- you cannot buy direct replacement parts for your "96 spec" jdm itr 4 lug conversion(4x114) so you have to drive around with wheel bearing noise and warped rotors
- you have an engine bay tag from a JDM car stating the chassis code eg6 and you have a stock motor
- you got JDM power folding mirros for that pure JDM look, but cannot actually use them properly because they are angled a RHD car
- You got a JDM hatch for your 92-95 civic because it has raised lettering and not a sticker like USDM, but then find out that you cant put a Canadian licence plate on it because the holes wont match up. japanese plates are longer and have a wider hole spacing then ours
- you bought used "JDM" coilovers for $800 and the ride sucks because the dampers are blown and then you realize that you could have bought brand new lowering springs, brand new adjustable shocks, and got an alignment for cheaper
- you bought JDM Stanley headlights, but cannot buy the proper replacement bulbs for less then $100
- you try to make you car look like its a stock japanese car.

k one day my brother came home w/ JDM center console for ek.
den he told if I can sell it for 130 bux he'll give me a half of it...so I post it out den a couple hours later I received a call saying he wants to check it out ...k so we meet up show him da thinnging
den while he was lookin at it he realize it's a for RHD car. and he
so he told me Its for a RHD car but da whole time I thought he was aware it's for a RHD car ... so I apologize and told I thought u we're aware of it....dats why I post it up as a JDMCENTRE CONSOLE....den he said sorry my bad ..........DuH........
