great write up and project, very inspirational.
I was just wondering if it is absolutly necessary that u have to use some sort of polyester to wrap ur pod or can u use any type of stretchy material?

Lots of people use suede.... it's sooo sexy looking and soft feeling. Just kinda pricey. I took off my 2 gauge pod A piller the other day to wire up a volt meter and turns out it's custom made aswell. The guy who owned the car before me must have made it. He did a fantastic job. Now I know why i never see the 2 pod A pillers for sale, only usually 3 pod.

That's a lot of work, so it must have given you a feeling of satisfaction to have it turn out well, just the way you wanted. Nice to know it's a custom-made DIY.
