Thanks for pointing out the obvious. What I meant was that the deal was a nice find. HID's can be better value if you consider how much money you waste on $30 bulbs like silverstars. But with an extra $7 off it aint bad. Shame its a mail in rebate and not a coupon

again nice find

but hid's are better

that looks like an S2K so i'm guessing those are oem hid's with some higher output lights. you can tell by looking at the sharp *** cutoff on the wall to the left. there's no way you can achieve that with a kit, but is that a hotspot i see right in the middle of the beam pattern? iuno i think it would be annoying to drive with lights THAT bright with such a sharp cut off. your eyes will be used to the lights and as soon as you look up it's hard to see.

edit: btw it's now expired.

those HID looks like 10000k to me, pls correct me if i am wrong.

elistian: 'k' is just the stands for kelvin, term to describe what temp they are burning at, so its its 6000k is more like bright white, 8000k is bright aqua white with blue tint, 10000k is bluesh (like the pic) with litle purple tint, and 11000k is purplish, and so on i heard they have 14000k now too.

i hope that answer your questions, and pls correct me if i am wrong, since i am not an expert and would like to know more about this

thx
