[HID] - Help please..dont know which one to choose

I'm glad i found this forum cux i think you guy can help me out here.
i know a lot of you guys have H4 hid installed. Currently i need to decide on a HID kit but im not sure which brand to choose from. Below are my choices

Prolumen H4 5000k
I like Prolumen is becuase their proven performence, lifetime warranty and i like the 5000k with no blue at all
The major drawback is that the glare sheild is tiny as hell, only one ceramic piece under the bulb.

O-Nex H4 6000k (used to be known as Halo)
This kit claims that its "assembled in Japan". They're selling this at Formula Imports in Pac Mall. Seriously i wouldnt even think about this BUT it does offer a FULL GLARE SHIELD.
Drawback is ive never heard of this brand and it only offers one year of warranty.

Can you guys help me out here ? Is the glare sheild really that important for controlling glare ?? Any experience to share ??

Thanks a lot guys !!

I didnt even know Prolumen kits came in 5000K. I thought it was only 4300k and 6000K.

Im in the same situation as you. I want a HID kit but I dont want all the glare. This is what Ive decided to do.

You can get a H4 to d2s/d2r adapter/shield. This is what it looks like.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/H4-to-D2S-D2R-Ada...QQcmdZViewItem

Its basically a casper shield. I helps with glare ALOT.
Than you just have to get a d2r HID kit.

this is somewhat related, I have a 1990 535i and it has projectors from the factory but the lights are pretty weak, does that mean it already uses HIDs and if so, can I just swap out the bulbs for a different setting, eg, 4300/6000/9000 etc? or does everything else need to be changed
