I just got those tails and from autodynamic as well. They were 218.73 at the door.
I wanted to try and paint clear tails half red but I couldn't find clear tails anywhere

These ones look "OEM"...

Other ones on "Import Racer's" are all white at the top and all red at the bottom..

I like mine, but to each his own..

What would you paint the clears with? Just red paint? I've got altezza's but they're boring me, I'd like to paint my clears that have been sitting in a box in my basement for 3 yrs (since I got the altezza's)

Sassafrass; (or anyone else) do you have pics of your painted clear tails? I would like to see this done and know which paint you used. Can you still see through them with the Testors Candy Apple Red? I'm so ready to get rid of my Altezza's.

Sorry I didn't take any pictures, but its very easy process. You can still kind of see through the tail lights but not really, it all depends on how many coats of paint you use. I strongly recommend these kinda tail lights, they look original and very clean. Not so original anymore, but they once were

I kinda meant can you see the light through them, does it glow good and red? I've already got them out and taped up. This'll be soooo cool!

Well either way you look at it, the more coats of paint the darker they are, I think I put 3 or 4 coats and it turned out great, a nice red on the outside and a nicer red when the lights are on.
