1990 Accord Window Stuck
My mother's 1990 accord ran into some power window problems today. The window is 1/2 open (suffice to say not good in this weather) and will not fully close nor fully open. The window is able to move 3 inches up or down before it makes a horrid grinding noise and gets stuck. I called the mechanic and he suggest it may be a relay problem ... does this make sense to anyone? Or can anyone suggest another solution?
I'd like to take the door apart and look at it, but my garage doesn't have enough space ... and I really dont want to work outside.

Before running out cash in fist buying parts, make sure you are replacing the correct part. My saturn (winter car) wipers died early this winter and I found it was the brackets that were broken cuz of the lack of lube. So I epoxied the **** back toghether with a dowel in place, greased it up, and they work like brand new. Take the time to take the door apart, since you gotta do it anyways. If you are crafty, it may not cost you anything at all.

im just going to let a mechanic do it ... it's imperative that we have 2 cars, I dont have time to fix it nor is the weather co-operative enough to allow such adventures.
Just wanted a heads up on what I may be looking at.
thanks for the input!
