92-95 Civic AngelEyes Installation + Quality Feedback

Good evening people!

I did a search on angel eyes in the exterior section of the forum and came up with many good threads regarding the installation/quality/light outputs of these lights. The problem though is that many of the posts in these threads are unclear, and are sometimes contradictory to the other posts made in the same thread. As a result, I want to get up to date feedback and advices from people who have installed/used angel eyes in the past in this thread, thanks!

Car: 1992-1995 Honda Civic
Product: 1-Piece Angel Eyes Projector in Black Housing (made in Taiwan)

Package Content:
- Two 1-Piece Angel Eyes Projector
- 2 H4 Corner Amber Bulbs
- 1 Wiring Harness

Questions:

1.) What is the proper way to install the lights? (Some people suggested that there is a need to unplug the Day-Time-Running lights before the projector would work, while others disagree to it)

2.) What are some of the ways one could prolong the life of the LED halo (eg. to prevent them from melting etc.)?

3.) What are the best bulbs to put in, with the exception of HID, to extract the most light output from these projectors?

Thank you very much everybody!

Thanks everyone for the great comments!
For those who have it on their car, how did you go about installing it?

it should plug into your oem harness

as for the halos, run those to a switch in your car so they arent constantly on, then you can turn them on when you feel like showing them off and not have them on all the time.... i put my one pc ones in about 2 months ago and they look great...

oh and make sure you re-seal them around the edges cause some arent done very well and you dont wanna get water in them...

dotn use the harness that comes with it.
they are garbage.
hook up ur halo in a way where they can be switched on or off only if u want too.
that way they wont die fast.
also aftermarket projectors are GARBAGE no matter what brand the beam is **** most likely u will have to play around with the light for a long time for it to be perfect for the beam

cant really do much about fitament.
unless you have a bodykit that is fibreglass.
if thats the case you can modify the fibreglass kit to make it fit better thats all by fibreglassing the gap over.

Yeah the wire harness is useless..... if you install it you'll have both high and low beams on for daytime running.....

if anyone want a used pair of these headlights, i'm considering to sell mine if you take them off my car for me too coz i dun have time and space to do so... i'll drive my car over and you can do it....

i'm not 100% positive toward the selling, so i'm not posting this in the for sale section yet since i don't have it off... however, i have the idea of going back to stock headlights for now... so if anyone wants to help me take it off or wanna buy it... just pm me... the condition is good coz i got them in sept and i got ripped off by a not-so-close friend... anyways... i will just ask for maybe roughly 50-60% of what they sell new at pac mall.... coz i just realize they go for cheap on ebay i think... i think ebay sells them new with shipping + ups carrying fee is like 200+ CAD...
