hey guys for those who have the tyc projectors for 99-00 civics installed, what are your opinions about them???
i have them havent installed yet, wondering about light output good/bad? (strictly tyc opinions please)
stock bulbs vs aftermarket bulbs.

wondering if i should stick with stock and get new hi/low beam h4 hid's instead. with that said which is better hid's in...
stock housing vs tyc projector housing.

got any pics that would be great?

as far as light output is concerned the HID in stock housing will blow the TYC's out of the water 99 out of 100 times. HID's in TYC's requires modding them to fit the bulbs unless you get the proper ones to start with. If you compare Matt (lordm) and Ed's (SiR_Yo) cars, Ed's is much brighter with HID's in stock housing IMO.

If you have the TYC's already i would install them as i think they look awesome and give the front end a different look. IF you find they dont have enough light output with stock/aftermarket bulbs in them then install some HID's or even some fogs.

 

depends on wut ur looking for. light output of hids in projectors isnt as great as in stock housing. like, they look brighter in stock cuz the light doesnt go through a projector which sorta restricts the light beam. but i like the "look" of hids in projectors better. either way, hids r hella bright regardless of the housing.
