eagle, advanti, fast, american racing are cheaper, heavier rims...Eagle makes some alright domestic rims (cobra, saleen, bullit knock-offs)

hercules tires? come on man...worst case get some crappy tire pacemarks (made by goodyear or sumthin)...I dont think they come in low profile so...what size are u lookin for?

cheap tires are good for some things...my motomasters were cheap and they are pretty damn good I must say...and my cheap dunlops I had on my old crx were good too...safe and handled decent, they werent for auto-x or nuthin but they handled wet and snow just dandy!

hercules tires i've heard of, but not sure if they are any good.

when i was shopping for cheap rims a while ago...i was offered a package for 17s...they came with my choice of either...hankook tires or hercules tires.

suffice to say i didn't buy either the rims or the tires....i went somewhere else and bought better stuff.

Konig makes good stuff.

cooper tires are shitty too
bridgestones are good.

lol ...what holds you to thte ground...? what keeps your car planted and going where you want it to go? the fancy chrome wheels? the cool *** super low suspension? how about the $10.95 special you got on tires? yep spending cheaply on tires... thats the quickest way to hit a curb and ruin those great chrome rims and cool *** super low suspension....

there's all the advise you need...

Gallagher i saw ur rims at the place 2day, very nice rims, mind if i ask how much u payed for them?

the shop i deal with wants $1350 tax inc and lug nuts included for Konig verdict opals! with 205/40/17 h rated nan king tires!
and only $850 tax and lug nuts included for just the rims. now could sum1 tell me if i'm gettin a deal here? cuz couple places i priced are more expensive than that, and could sum1 tell me if nan-king tires are any good?

If these are your first set of rims...buy used...you will curb them in no time. And 500 bucks for no name tires isnt the best deal.
