if you're going to go HID, do it right. Get yourself OEM projectors (bixenon if you do not have separate high/low beams), 4100/4300 OEM D2S bulbs, and rig up a custom wiring harness and you're set.

Don't waste your time with these no-name kits as they'll land you a ticket (improper colour, etc), cause accidents b/c you're blinding everyone with your subpar beam pattern, and they won't last anywhere as long as OEM HID components.

Wouldn't you want a beam pattern like this:

That's the way to play.

I'll be getting a lil gift from a very good friend soon too. I won't have the S2K projector retrofitted in time as the HID's come in but, they'll be done on a different set of lights that I have planned.

Cheers,
Buddah.

Lightbulb

Thanx Tego! So you got a Prolumen kit 6000k for $390 sounds like a kick *** deal to me. You maybe got em from John Lo?

How's the Warranty 1 yr? I wouldn't recomend anyone going over 6000k Because anything over 4100k is just less Lumens. The more K the more Kolor. 4100K Is the most effective light, but not the most bluish. 6000k is the nicest kit I personally think.

However most people get 8000k up probably thinking it's brighter.
like me, until I learned. So you guys can learn too.

My question is does that produce a lot of glare? even with an HID kit, it shouldn't shoot your light that far if the beam was aimed down and cut off should it?

thx rjngo, thats what i ment when i said "Philips dont make any hid kits" because they dont make full kit and i am prety sure he is looking for full kit and WTBe_EK9 lol thats all i can do laugh if you trust those auto direct save sites, any jo blow can design a site to sell hids and put phillips are over and over exagurating ****, its like some no name kit with phillips relay in it , thats why there is the smallest pics ever of the hid box so ppl like u beleive that its phillips kit.

phillips only make bulbs and relay kits for other hid manufacturers, and they never ever build full kit, i have john los kit same as tegos and i would the best kit ever
