Break light not working...Help

Break light not working...Help

the break light in my EG hatch doesnt work the one on the top spoiler...what could be wrong ...the car was repainted so maybe it wasnt hooked up?
and most of all is that gona be a safety issue? like to pass safety test ?

i suspect it might be the fuse, can someone plz post a pic for me with the fuse map, the fuses that are inside the car
for a 92 si hatch, thanks

the CHMSL does not have it's own fuse. CHMSL (Center High Mounted Stop Light) and yeah, I'm pretty sure a mechanic won't let you pass with even one light not working.

ok i have narowed it down and im 90% shure it is loose ground conection because when i hardwire the horn it works and the miggle light is on the same circut as the horn with i think is retarded but anyway does anyone know where that circuit is grounded to cause i dont want to go threw all the wires and then just mess up everything.....
some sugestions would relly be apriciated , thanks

check the wiring that is going to the the CHMSL. If the other lights are working that will tell you that there is a fault in the wiring or the light itself. If the fuse was blown you would have no brake lights or horn for that matter.

it is bad ground i alredy know that all i need to know is where that circuit is grounded to....

You will have to trace the wire to find the gound break. Unless you just want to snip the ground wire close to the light and ground it elsewhere.
